Job summary

Amentum is seeking an inventory/control associate to verify incoming items, annotate records, and assemble kits in a shop environment. You will conduct inventories, use barcode and scanning tools, and ensure accurate stock and documentation.

The role requires a willingness to travel and pass a pre-employment physical. Applicants should be able to lift up to 45 pounds, work shifts including weekends, and obtain a security clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license for potential travel and equipment operation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and urine analysis.

Responsibilities

• Counts, sorts, and weighs incoming items to verify receipt.
• Receives items and annotates basic receiving/shipping records.
• Assembles tools/parts into kits and conducts inventories.
• Operates bar code wands, scanners, and terminals; may need CAC access.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, and quality standards in a shop environment.
