Job summary

This role requires prior supervisory experience, familiarity with kitchen service areas, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a stewarding or similar team.
• Experience in steward/dishwasher capacity.
• Computer literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Steward with the efficient running of the Steward Department.
• Supervise Stewarding team ensuring tasks meet Omni standards within timeframes.
• Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness in Stewarding areas.
• Execute company policies relating to the Stewarding Department within budget controls.
• Oversee storage and requisitioning of materials and equipment; manage inventory.
• Report breakages and cleaning supply usage to the Executive Steward.
• Establish performance standards for the Stewarding Department.
• Maintain equipment and report defects to maintenance.
• Ensure proper cleaning and distribution of china, silverware and glassware; minimize breakage.
• Revise daily banquet event orders (BEO) for changes.
