Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and service areas. You will clean pots, pans, dishes, and equipment to hotel standards, and assist in banquet and restaurant operations by transporting and setting up service items.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding kitchen, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. A professional appearance and teamwork orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to clean all kitchens and food and beverage equipment, in accordance with hotel standards.
• Assists chefs, cooks, and banquet staff by providing clean and organized tools and equipment.
• Supports banquet and restaurant operations by transporting, setting up, and breaking down service equipment.
• Stock and replenish plates on cooking stations.
• Empty trash bins regularly and transport garbage and recyclables to designated disposal areas.
