Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa seeks a Stewarding Manager to hire, train, organize, schedule, and supervise the Stewarding staff across all functions, ensuring sanitation standards and staffing levels meet business needs.

You will work closely with Banquet and culinary teams, directing day-to-day operations, monitoring equipment, and overseeing purchasing, budgeting, and compliance with health codes. Strong leadership and communication are essential to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent Stewarding/FOH management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of management in Food & Beverage.
• Experience in hospitality supervision is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day Stewarding operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure sanitation standards and adherence to health codes.
• Collaborate with Banquet team on plating and function needs.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and equipment maintenance.
• Attend meetings and manage scheduling and payroll processes.
