Job summary

Graton Resort & Casino is seeking an Executive Steward responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of all kitchen and food preparation areas, planning and directing the stewarding team, and coordinating inventory control of chemicals, utensils, and supplies.

This role also ensures compliance with health inspections and food safety protocols under the guidance of the Vice President of Culinary Operations, while fostering a positive, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing stewarding teams in large kitchens.
• Knowledge of health inspections and food safety protocols.
• Strong leadership and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stewarding operations and ensure cleaning assignments and staff coordination.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, utensils, and supplies.
• Lead daily huddles and communicate updates to team.
• Coach and provide feedback to ensure performance standards.
• Maintain attendance tracking and payroll accuracy.
