The supervisor will coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams, monitor supply levels, and respond quickly to guest needs while maintaining a professional and courteous environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in food service janitorial position.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment use.
• Chemical handling knowledge.
• Fluent in English (verbal and non-verbal).
• Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance and use of equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and maintain cleanliness.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Ensure staff report to work and manage attendance.
• Distribute assignments for Stewarding staff and review priorities.
• Communicate changes to assignments during shifts.
• Identify issues affecting standards and report to manager.
• Check stock levels and requisition supplies as needed.
• Inspect storage areas for order and cleanliness.
• Check stations for supplies and equipment and correct deficiencies.
• Coordinate with Kitchen/Restaurant needs and ensure requirements are met.
• Maintain par levels of operating equipment and pest control as required.
• Support Banquet function requirements and assist Stewarding staff.
