Job summary

Accor is seeking a Stewarding Manager for the Fairmont San Francisco property to optimize labor, uphold sanitation, and ensure safe, efficient operations. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead the stewarding team, manage scheduling and payroll, and drive cost controls while maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

You will recruit and develop staff, enforce MSDS and health compliant procedures, and participate in ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising kitchen stewarding or similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
• Proven ability to recruit, interview and promote hospitality staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain labor efficiency and budgeted labor costs within the Stewarding Department.
• Oversee dish room operations, night cleaning, and related stewarding tasks.
• Supervise schedule, payroll, and staff performance for stewarding team.
• Ensure compliance with Food & Beverage policies and Health Department standards.
• Coordinate with culinary and event teams to support service operations.
