Job summary

Four Seasons in Lanai City is seeking a Steward who is passionate about excellence and enthusiastic in their work. This role will involve cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware, managing stewarding carts, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while ensuring safety standards.

The ideal candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States, a Hawaii Driver’s License, and the ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and a vibrant employee culture.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in the United States is required.
• Hawaii Driver’s License and abstract are mandatory for this role.
• Required to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.

Steward

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Steward who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize china, glassware, and silverware using dishwashing equipment; properly store all items after washing.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and areas, including ovens, kettles, mixers, floors, walls, drains, and production spaces.
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils using proper cleaning solutions and procedures.
• Manage stewarding carts, remove and dispose of trash, and clean walk‑ins and refrigeration units.
• Safely handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety standards and proper protective measures.

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.
• Hawaii Driver’s License and abstract is required for this role.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
