Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the island of Hawaii is seeking a dedicated Steward to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that supports our culinary teams and enhances the guest experience. You will clean dishes and cookware, manage back-of-house areas, and help sustain health and food-safety standards across outlets.

A $1,000 gross sign-on bonus is offered after successful completion of the 90-day probation period, with internal applicants excluded.

STEWARD

We are seeking a Steward who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports our culinary teams and enhances the overall guest experience.

As a Steward, you play a critical behind-the-scenes role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety ensures our kitchens and restaurantsoperate at the highest standards across all outlets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Clean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, pots, and kitchen equipment using proper procedures and equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, back-of-house spaces, storage areas, and employee dining facilities

• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

• Support the overall sanitation program, ensuring compliance with health and food safety standards

• Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with safety guidelines

• Assist the culinary team by maintaining a steady flow of clean equipment to support service

WHAT TO BRING

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• A commitment to cleanliness, safety, and organization

• Willingness to learn and support team needs across multiple outlets

• Weekend and holiday availability
