Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Steward/Dishwasher for a fine dining kitchen. You will perform daily dishwashing, washing and sanitizing china, glassware, pots and pans, and maintain a clean, sanitary dish pit area. You will also assist with waste removal and equipment upkeep, while upholding safety policies.

This role requires the ability to lift 50–75 pounds, a professional appearance, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Shift hours include nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
• Experience in a kitchen or fine dining setting is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans daily.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized dish pit and related equipment.
• Handle waste disposal, trash, and grease removal as part of daily duties.
• Break down the dish pit area at end of last shift when required.
• Attend departmental staff meetings as scheduled.
• Follow safety policies and report injuries or incidents.
• Support Sous Chefs and Executive Chef with other duties as needed.

The Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for the day to day cleaning duties of the kitchen. The Steward/Dishwasher will strive to create the safest, cleanest, most sanitary and organized environment possible.
