HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Steward at Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. The role supports culinary and service teams, ensuring sanitary kitchen areas and proper equipment care to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, trash disposal, stock rotation, and occasional banquet setup. Prior stewarding or kitchen support experience is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-volume hospitality environment.

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Properly dispose of trash and garbage; clean and maintain garbage cans.
• Sort and process bottles and other recyclables.
• Polish silverware and utensils as needed.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table setup when required.
• Wash and peel vegetables or assist with basic food prep as needed.
• Store and rotate stock in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

The Steward ensures the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, along with the proper care and maintenance of restaurant equipment and utensils. By supporting both culinary and service teams, this role promotes a safe, sanitary, and efficient environment that directly contributes to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
