HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts in Tucson, AZ seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to maintain clean rooms and public areas, ensuring a pleasant guest experience. You will clean rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and corridors, move furniture as needed, and stock supplies according to procedures.

You must follow safety rules for chemicals, complete a background check, and assist the Room Attendant as needed. This part‑time role offers flexible shifts at Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa,

Competenze

• High school diploma preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.

• Clean rooms, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas to maintain a clean hotel environment.
• Move arrange furniture and dust/polish furniture, metalwork and equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstery with vacuum cleaning equipment.
• Restock linens and supplies and report maintenance needs.
• Greet guests warmly and assist as needed.

The Housekeeping Houseperson will perform a combination of tasks which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Moves/arranges furniture and dusts/polishes furniture, metalwork and equipment.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors, using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.
• Collects soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
• Refurnishes room with supplies, towels etc. as required. Supplies cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork; washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist Room Attendant with task as needed.
• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
