Job summary

RisasDental and Braces is seeking a friendly Sterilization Technician to join our team. You will support Dental Assistants and Doctors by decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments and equipment, while maintaining aseptic technique and room cleanliness.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication. We offer a supportive environment with advances in professional development and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
• Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for decontamination and cleaning of all equipment and instruments; ensures cleanliness and sterility of all instruments.
• Accurately assembles instrument sets based on established count sheets; minimizes waste.
• Prepares and packages single instrument items; differentiates steam vs gas sterilization.
• Stores, delivers, and manages sterile supplies using aseptic technique.
• Evaluates equipment function; reports malfunctions and ensures repairs and maintenance.
• Cleans and sanitizes treatment rooms after each use.
• Maintains compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA) and company policies.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each use
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices)
• Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned
