Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a friendly and professional bilingual Dental Assistant. You will educate patients on dental treatments, assist doctors, and help maintain patient flow with efficient chair-side support.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain X-ray certification within 3 months. Coronal polish certification is a plus, with 1–2 years in dentistry preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in the dental field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients.
• Warm, friendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
• Team player and able to collaborate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients efficiently.
• Record patient charting and notes in the digital chart as directed.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Comply with State, Federal, HIPAA, OSHA and Risas policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures andtreatment
