Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces is seeking a friendly, professional bilingual Dental Assistant to join our team in Wheat Ridge, CO. You will educate patients, assist doctors, and maintain patient flow while upholding OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Candidates should be fluent in Spanish/English, have a High School diploma or GED, and be able to obtain X-ray certification within 3 months. Coronal polish is a plus, with 1–2 years of dental experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required to educate patients.
• High school diploma or GED is required; X-ray certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months.
• Coronal polish certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment options to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete X-rays and intra-oral pictures efficiently.
• Record patient charting and notes in the digital chart.
• Maintain inventory and supplies; ensure compliance with OSHA/HIPAA.
• Lend support to teammates and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures andtreatment

• Presenting treatment to patients based ondoctorrecommendations
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner

• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices)
• Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned

Qualifications
