Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a friendly and professional bilingual dental assistant. You will educate patients on treatments, assist doctors, and maintain patient flow with cross-trained support across dental specialties.

The role emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and adherence to OSHA/HIPAA and Risas policies. If you hold Spanish/English fluency and dental assisting certification, apply to join the Risas Family.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience in the dental field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients.
• Warm, friendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
• Team player with ability to lend support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment recommendations to patients based on doctor guidance.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures efficiently.
• Record patient charting and doctor’s notes in digital system.
• Maintain inventory and supplies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support the team and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures andtreatment

• Maintain inventory andsupplies
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices)
• Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned
