Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Sterilization Technician to perform terminal cleaning, packaging, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with hospital policy.

You will record sterilization processes, maintain sterile storage areas, and support the surgical services team. High School Diploma or GED required; prior Sterilization Technician experience preferred. Strong communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience as Sterilization Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides terminal cleaning, packaging, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Records sterilization process according to hospital policy.
