Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Scrub Assistant to support surgical teams under RN guidance, maintaining an aseptic environment and assisting with patient transport. This role contributes to high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The position emphasizes completion of required credentials (BCLS) and preferred scrub tech training or experience, within a nonprofit health system known for community care and continued education.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
• EDUCATION PREFERRED: Successful completion of a Scrub Tech program
• EXPERIENCE: Previous Scrub Assistant experience preferred.
• ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES: BCLS required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period).
