Job summary

Sotera Health seeks an Operator at our Fort Worth, TX facility, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will coordinate all activities on the conveyor by organizing the work orders at load and unload stations and ensure proper paperwork under daily direction.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure. Must lift up to 50 pounds; forklift experience is preferred. Training will certify you for operator duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Records input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Loads and unloads product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepares dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
• Operates and takes readings on the dosimeter reader.
• Assembles processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Familiar with emergency procedures.
• Reports system problems to the Shift Supervisor or the Maintenance team.
• Knows how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and may assist Maintenance as needed.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
