Job summary

Sotera Health in Lewis Center, Ohio, is seeking an Operator to coordinate activities on the conveyor and manage load/unload at the sterilization workflow. You will record dosimeter data, prepare run sheets, and assist in safe operation under supervision.

Eligible candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, ability to lift 50 lb, and basic computer skills. Forklift experience is a plus and training leading to operator certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions.

Responsibilities

• Records input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Loads and unloads product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepares dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
• Operates and takes readings on the dosimeter reader.
• Assembles processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Follows emergency procedures and reports system problems to supervisors.
