Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking an Operator to coordinate conveyor activities, organize work orders at load and unload stations, and ensure safe operation of the system. The role involves reading inputs and dosimeter data, and supporting the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance teams.

You will handle loads, operate the dosimeter reader, and complete required paperwork, with training to achieve operator qualifications. This on-site role in New Jersey emphasizes safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) required.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Under supervision, load/unload product into totes for irradiation.
• Operate and take readings on the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheets and work orders.
• Perform emergency procedures as required by governing agencies.
• Report system problems to Shift Supervisor/Maintenance.
• Know how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and assist Maintenance.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
