Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Full-time Sterile Processing Technician for night shifts. You will select materials and wrap instrument sets for aseptic processing, verify sterilization indicators, and operate complex sterilizers.

You must maintain accurate records and demonstrate strong attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification, High School diploma or equivalent, and related experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
  • Technical/Vocational School preferred.
  • Field of Study: healthcare sterile processing.

Responsibilities

  • Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
  • Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
  • Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization per manufacturer instructions.
  • Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.
  • Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents requirements in log books or computer systems.

Job Description

Education

High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Technical/Vocational School [Preferred] Field of Study: in healthcare sterile processing

Work Experience

1+ related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) [Required] OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) [Required]
