Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on the night shift. You will select materials and packaging, ensure sterility indicators are present, and operate sterilization equipment to support safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1+ related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Grad or equivalent.
• Technical/Vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
• Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
• Operates sterilization equipment and selects the correct method per manufacturer instructions.
• Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify parameters before releasing items for clinical use.
• Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents requirements in log books or computer systems.

Job Description:
