Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure aseptic packaging, verify sterility indicators, and operate sterilization equipment. You will maintain records and support safe, efficient processing of instrument sets.

The role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification, a High School diploma, and 1+ year of related experience. This full-time night-shift position offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• CRCST or CSPDT certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sterile processing experience preferred.
• Technical/vocational training preferred in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
• Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
• Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method based on manufacturer instructions.
• Reviews and signs sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before release for clinical use.
• Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents requirements in logs or computer systems.

Job Description:
