Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift to ensure decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage and distribution of surgical instruments with accurate tracking.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CS experience is preferred and HSPA/IAHCSMM certification is preferred and must be obtained within 18 months of hire. 40 hours weekly, night shifts (10 hr shifts per day) with minimal weekend rotation.

The sterile processing tech is responsible for ensuring that all surgical instrumentation is properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in an accurate and timely manner throughout the hospital. The sterile processing tech works independently with little supervision. Serves as a resource to Sterile Processing customers.
High school diploma or equivalent with past central sterile experience preferred.
HSPA/IAHCSMM certification preferred; will be required within 18 months of hire date.
