Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Proficiency with instrument processing equipment and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone promptly and assists callers in obtaining items needed.
• Assembles supplies and places into case carts for procedures.
• Delivers scheduled case carts to Surgery Department and various areas.
• Performs cleaning, decontamination, sterilization and monitoring per standards.
• Maintains organization, safety, and inventory in SPD.
