Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in sterile processing strongly preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and assist callers to obtain needed items.
• Assemble supplies into case carts for procedures.
• Deliver sterile and non-sterile instrumentation throughout the hospital.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, and packaging of instruments.
• Operate processing equipment and monitor sterilization.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and department organization.
• Dispatch duties and support SPD operations.
