Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One (1) year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and assists callers to obtain items needed.
• Assembles supplies and places into case carts for procedures.
• Delivers sterile and non-sterile instrumentation to units and collects used items.
• Performs decontamination, prep, pack, sterilization and dispatch duties.
• Maintains clean, organized SPD area and adheres to safety policies.
