Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Nationally recognized Sterile Processing certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone promptly and assists callers with needed items.
• Assembles supplies and case carts for procedures.
• Delivers case carts to Surgery Department and back-up carts as needed.
• Performs decontamination, prep and pack, and sterilization duties.
• Maintains department cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
• Follows HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
