Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year healthcare experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Nationally recognized Sterile Processing certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone promptly and assists callers with items needed.
• Assembles supplies and places into case carts for procedures.
• Delivers sterile and non-sterile instrumentation and supplies throughout the hospital.
• Performs decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, and dispatch duties.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the SPD and supplies.
