Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department night shift in Chicago, IL. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a 10:00pm–6:30am schedule and rotating weekends/holidays.

The incumbent will decontaminate, assemble, package and sterilize items, ensuring quality and accuracy for patient care. Education and certifications are preferred, with growth opportunities across the department.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup with quality patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution and labeling by department.
