Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department on the night shift. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with hours 10:00pm–6:30am, rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials, follow decontamination and packaging procedures, and ensure accurate labeling and distribution of sterile items across departments.

Qualifications

• Education: GED/High School Equivalent required
• Certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred
• Experience: Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment
• Execute decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and cart setup procedures ensuring quality product for patient care
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution, ensuring the items are accurately labeled by department
