UC Davis Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician III – Team Lead to oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization and case cart readiness for the Operating Room, ensuring instrument integrity and timely turnaround.

The role emphasizes leadership in the Sterile Processing Department, adherence to AAMI/AORN standards, and collaboration with surgical teams. On-site, 100% FTE with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five years of Sterile Processing experience in a hospital setting.
• CRCST (HSPA) or CSPDT (CBSPD) certification required.
• Advanced certification within 6 months of hire (CIS/CSIS/CER/CFER/CHL/CSPM).
• Maintain CEUs and renewals as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AAMI practices and AORN guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and safe handling of instruments.
• Independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient computer and instrument-tracking skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
