Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Lead to coordinate daily processing of sterile instruments, trays and devices while maintaining infection control standards. You will supervise a team, ensure equipment operates correctly, and help manage inventory and quality issues.

Ideal candidates will have sterile processing experience, CSPDT/CRST certification, and strong communication skills. This role demands teamwork, adherence to policies, and a focus on patient safety in a busy ambulatory

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Sterile processing or operating room experience required.
• Certified as CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribition Technician) or CRST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates sterilization processes for instruments and devices.
• Maintains inventory and records for sterile processing.
• Ensures compliance with infection control standards and safety policies.
• Collaborates with ASC team to update surgeon preference cards.
• Communicates effectively with physicians and coworkers.
