Job summary

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead and oversee the preparation and delivery of all surgical instruments and supplies. The role requires coordinating OR support, managing staff scheduling, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in Sterile Processing with supervisory experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry. CRCST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in Sterile Processing operations or related field.
• Experience with computers and data entry, ideally Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of sterilization standards and sterile processing technique.
• 3–5 years of Supervisory or Management experience in Sterile Processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy and availability of surgical instruments, equipment, implants and supplies.
• Build relationships with surgeons, clinicians and staff to ensure efficient OR operation.
• Schedule and assign staff; supervise and coach team members.
• Educate staff on instrumentation and equipment; implement workflow initiatives to improve productivity.
