Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification required: CRCST or CSPDT.
• Experience in hospital sterile processing preferred.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift for all instrumentation decontamination and sterilization.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and staff scheduling.
• Mentor new employees and back-up department coordinator as needed.
• Ensure supervised staff are trained and evaluated.
• Operate washer/disinfectors and endoscope reprocessor equipment.
• Maintain instrument tracking and quality control records.
