Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CRCST certification preferred.
• 3-5 years sterile processing experience in acute care hospital.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA/PI program and maintains documentation of sterilization processes.
• Oversees shift quality and equipment documentation; ensures timely corrective actions.
• Verifies sterilization records and logs; ensures compliance with procedures.
• Assists in orientation and training of staff; provides leadership on the shift.
• Identifies problems and communicates action plans to manager to meet customer needs.
• Supports department goals and participates in safety and teamwork initiatives.
