Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma; CRCST preferred.
• Three to five years experience in Central Services/sterile processing is highly desirable.
• One to two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA/PI programs and maintains related documentation.
• Oversees department quality and performance on shift and ensures staff compliance.
• Assists CPD Manager with staff scheduling and training.
• Coordinates equipment, instrument kits and supply inventory to support cases.
• Leads safety training and ensures universal precautions are followed.
• Fosters teamwork and alignment with hospital-wide goals.
