Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician Lead to supervise decontamination, processing and sterilization workflows. You will ensure instruments pass QC, maintain documentation, and coordinate dispatch of equipment per hospital policies.

The role requires 18 months of Sterile Processing experience, high school diploma, and CRCST/CSPDT or equivalent certifications with CEU ongoing education. PPE and team collaboration are essential in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 months experience in Sterile Processing or 1600 hours of hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Manufacturer's Instructions for Decontamination, Processing, High Level Disinfection & Sterilization.
• Maintain required documentation on logs and/or computer systems.
• Prioritize instrumentation for processing, answer telephones, dispatch instrumentation and supplies.
