Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Leader to plan, implement, and manage policies for decontamination, storage, and sterilization of reusable surgical instruments and medical equipment. You will oversee record-keeping, audits, and staff leadership—collaborating with OR teams and facility committees to enhance patient care.

The role requires extensive knowledge of sterilization principles, OSHA/AAMI standards, and the ability to drive improvements while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of sterilization standards and OR instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and manages sterilization policies and procedures.
• Maintains record-keeping for processing instruments and equipment.
• Provides leadership and oversight to supervisors, coordinators and technicians.
• Engages with OR staff to ensure material availability and standards compliance.
• Promotes mission and vision of AdventHealth across committees.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and cost efficiency in sterile processing.
