Job summary

The Ohio State University is hiring an Instrumentation Lead Coordinator in Dublin (Outpatient Care). This role ensures sterilized equipment for surgeries, tracks instrumentation across the Enterprise, and coordinates tray movement to support the OR schedule.

You will work across multiple reprocessing sites, provide clinical orientation to CCS Technicians, and uphold infection-control standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least four years in instrument processing, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in instrument processing or hospital sterile processing.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or within 6 months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Tecsys and Censitrac tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilize, install, assemble and/or clean clinic or healthcare equipment for surgeries and procedures.
• Ensure sterilized instruments are packaged and delivered aseptically to the point of use.
• Serve as a liaison between Operating Rooms and CSS offsite locations to track instrumentation.
• Manage tray movement logistics and standardize instrument trays across the enterprise.
• Monitor OR schedule to ensure instrumentation is processed and delivered without delay.
• Provide clinical orientation for CCS Technicians and Instrumentation Coordinators.
