Strive Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our onsite team in Gilbert, AZ. You will prepare customized sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring the highest quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification (NHA or PTCB)
• Minimum of one year of sterile compounding experience in a high-volume sterile environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and/or cGMP FDA 503B Guidelines
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile compounding processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Ability to operate small, sensitive laboratory equipment used in sterile compounding

Responsibilities

• Sterile Compounding: Follow proprietary formulations and procedures to safely compound sterile injectable medications
• Pharmacist Collaboration: Work with supervisors, pharmacists, and QA teams to maintain compliance
• Equipment Documentation: Maintain calibration logs and document quality procedures
• Cleanroom Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and proper waste disposal per SOPs
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, report shortages, inspect materials for quality/expiry
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Participate in audits, competency assessments, and ongoing training
