Job summary

Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our overnight team. You will prepare patient-specific sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Working in an onsite cleanroom, you will follow SOPs, document procedures, and support QA efforts while collaborating closely with pharmacists and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active PTCB or ExCPT certification with an active state license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, USP <800>, and FDA 503B cGMP guidelines.
• Strong aseptic technique and sterile compounding processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience in sterile compounding and cleanroom procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sterile Compounding: Follow formulations and procedures to safely compound sterile injectables.
• Quality Control & Documentation: Perform quality checks and document deviations.
• Pharmacist Collaboration: Work with Pharmacist-in-Charge and QA teams to ensure compliance.
• Equipment Documentation: Maintain calibration logs and compounding records.
• Cleanroom Maintenance: Keep cleanroom organized and compliant, dispose of waste per protocols.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Participate in audits and continuing education.
