Job summary

Strive Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our onsite team in Gilbert, AZ. You will prepare customized sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

You must hold an active AZ Pharmacy Technician License with national certification and have sterile compounding experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification (NHA or PTCB)
• Minimum of one year of sterile compounding experience in a high-volume setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of USP 795/797 and/or cGMP FDA 503B guidelines
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations and aseptic techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Ability to operate specialized lab equipment used in sterile compounding

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding following proprietary formulations and procedures
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Supervisor/Manager, and QA teams to maintain quality and compliance
• Maintain calibration logs for scales and electronic meters and document procedures
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and proper waste disposal
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuing education for compliance
