Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician. You will prepare customized sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance with SOPs.

This onsite role requires one year of sterile compounding experience, an active AZ license and national certification, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The position offers full-time hours and a competitive hourly wage with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and national certification required.
• Minimum one year sterile compounding in high-volume facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of USP 795/797 or cGMP FDA 503B guidelines.
• Strong math, terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile compounding knowledge.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Able to operate small, sensitive lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding following proprietary formulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with Pharmacist Supervisor/Manager and QA teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain calibration logs for scales and laboratory equipment; document procedures and records.
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and safety protocols; manage waste disposal.
• Monitor inventory, identify supply needs, and report shortages.
• Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, and continuing education activities.
