Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a dedicated Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for an overnight, full-time role. You will prepare sterile medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a PTCB/ExCPT with state licensure, knowledge of USP <795>/<800> and FDA cGMP guidelines, and strong aseptic technique. Competitive hourly pay with shift differential accompanies benefits.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification with active State license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of USP <795>, USP <800>, and FDA 503B cGMP guidelines
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, aseptic technique, and sterile compounding processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to operate small, sensitive laboratory equipment used in sterile compounding

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding of injectable medications following proprietary formulations and procedures
• Quality control, documentation, samples for testing, and investigations for deviations
• Collaborate with Pharmacist-in-Charge, facility Pharmacists, and QA teams to ensure integrity and compliance
• Maintain calibration logs for scales, meters, and equipment; document procedures and records
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and safety protocols
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages; inspect materials for expiry or quality
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuing education for compliance and excellence
