Job summary

Basic Home Infusion is hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations in Farmers Branch, Texas.

You will prepare, fill and compound medications, maintain USP 797 compliant facilities, manage inventory, and coordinate with nursing to ensure safe patient care. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a licensed pharmacy technician credential, and preferred CPhT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
• Preferred CPhT certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and compounds medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Maintains the pharmacy according to USP 797 standards, including prep room maintenance and certification.
• Maintain and provide drug usage reports to pharmaceutical partners as requested.
• Maintains inventory levels of supplies needed by both pharmacy and nursing.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by a pharmacist.
• Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing services to provide safe and appropriate patient care.

Education

CPhT certification preferred
