Job summary

InfuCare Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support compounding and dispensing in a home infusion setting. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, interacting with caregivers, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure accurate dosing, safe sterile processing, and timely delivery of medications.

The role emphasizes accurate record keeping, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with suppliers to receive the correct drug products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and in good standing state license required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including reading, writing and speaking.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dose of medication.
• Demonstrate safety, sterile product processing and infection control per policies.
• Dispense products and record in pharmacy software to generate delivery documents.
• Ensure a licensed pharmacist checks all outgoing prescriptions prior to delivery.
• Assist with the selection, packing and delivery of specialty infusion products.
• Contact patients, caregivers and stakeholders to determine health or delivery needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure correct drug products are received.
• Verify the accuracy of product orders and track infusion pumps/equipment.
