Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile compounding and patient supply preparation under pharmacist supervision. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician training preferred.
• State Board of Pharmacy requirements may apply in service area.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting preferred.
• Registration with State Board of Pharmacy if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Clean work surfaces and environment according to USP 797 and SOPs.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Label containers and ensure proper drug containers.
• Monitor environmental conditions and report deviations.
• Maintain daily On Track Task Logs.
• Manage timely refills to avoid interruptions.
• Upload and verify delivery tickets in Care Tend; sign admissions when needed.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and document outcomes.
• Order medications to keep inventory stocked for patients.
• Enter supplies into the Vital Systems inventory system.
• Store drugs and supplies safely and keep workspace organized.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages and reorder as needed.
• Conduct monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion supplies.
• Report misconduct or unethical activity to HR.
• Build positive relationships with clients with attentive support.
• Exhibit clear written and verbal communication with colleagues and patients.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement per PIC guidance.
• Report product incidents as required by company policy.
• Work as a team with others to complete tasks.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
