Qualifications

• 5+ years hospital pharmacy experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Registered Technician with State.
• CPhT credential.
• Sterile compounding experience.

Responsibilities

• Restocks floor stock/automated dispensing machines.
• Enters charges/credits against patient profile to ensure an accurate bill.
• Monitors medication order reports to assign medication to an automated dispensing machine.
• Delivers all medication in compliance with DEA, DPH & State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications following USP guidelines and maintains IV/QA records.
• Checks for expired medications and proper disposal per regulations.
• Coordinates inspection of storage areas and drug procurement.
• Trains new staff in Central Pharmacy Operations and sterile/non-sterile compounding.
